In Goldman Sachs Ruler of the World I talked about the way Goldman Sachs seemed to be so suspiciously lucky with their timing and the way regulations (or the lack therof) seem to always work in their favor.
Matt Taibbi has written an article for Rolling Stone magazine that is so spot on I can’t really add much to it. All I can say is it’s a must read if you think you understand the twists and turns of the American economy for the past 50 years.
My favorite line in the article is “If America is now circling the drain. Goldman Sachs has found a way to be that drain”.
The article is very detailed and well researched. Not for the faint of heart. Read it, educate yourself, and see how you feel on the other side.

Read Taibbi’s article and immediately began circulating around to my friends on the internet. It is both informative and frightening. It leaves you wondering whether we are wasting our time with elections or not.
