Bretton Woods is a part of forex history. While the agreement itself was not strictly about forex trading, it did lead the way for some of the organization that led up to the forex markets that we have today.
The Bretton Woods agreement was during a time of economic turmoil, a time much like now. The agreement brought about the use of the US Dollar as the world reserve currency, a change that we could see being reversed in the near future.

Hi John,
How do you think changing the global currency from other than the US Dollar would effect the Forex Markets?
I realize that things would chage but the markets would still function just lie they do now, wouldn’t you agree?
Thanks
