Question: Are expert advisors profitable?
Answer:
Generally speaking, I have not seen very many expert advisors that can do better than a coin toss. Many expert advisors out there are based on simple technical systems that will fail during large position adjustments after news is released.
Most of the time the only way an expert advisor is profitable, is if you created it and are selling it for income. This is not always true, but a very high percentage of the time.
If you plan to use an expert advisor in your trading, please test it on a demo first. Best measure of results is with 1 to 3 months of testing.
