Tom Yeomans is the creator of a forex trading system called The Forex Grail.
The Forex Grail is named after the term "Holy Grail" meaning the ultimate discovery. The system uses human judgement combined with a software called Accustrength to measure the strength of individual currencies. The theory is that you look for currencies that are strong and pit them against currencies that are weak, using the software to help you figure out which currencies are strong or weak, and using a moving average system to determine trade entries and exits.
The system is designed for daytraders that want to trade at the computer during active market hours. It includes a copy of Accustrength Trading Software and a copy of The Forex Grail Trading System.
There is nothing terribly earth shattering about this system, it's a short term daytrading system based on what currencies are doing right at that moment. The details of the system are outlined in the book, and the system is a combination of strength readings on the Accustrength Meter and watching for a certain set up with the moving averages.
The one thing that I'll give this system credit for over other systems is that you actually get something other than an ebook and a prayer for your money spent. You receive the Accustrength software, plus 3 years worth of upgrades.
Does the Forex Grail Work?
In short, yes the system works, but there is a bit of wiggle room on the interpretation. There is some human judgment involved when it comes to trading hours and trade sizing. The system does not produce 100 percent wins, no system does, but it does give you a trading edge for a higher percent of wins. It's still possible to lose money if you have poor stop placement, over-trade, or improperly use leverage.
If you follow the system recommendations and trade as suggested, you can make some good money using this system. However, it's important to keep in mind that the system is only as good as the trader applying it, and that really goes for any forex trading system.
