The ADP Employment report showed an overall gain of 9,000 jobs for private payrolls in the US.
The gains were largely attributed to expansion in the service sector, which was of course offset by losses in manufacturing, and production of goods. The report shows a clear shift in employees leaving large companies and moving to smaller ones indicating a change in tide.
The US Dollar stayed in range, but remained well supported on speculation of a potentially positive NonFarm Payroll number on friday.
